Hold dried fish instead of spamming cats
Garlic Sprouts designed the lane so a random two-cat dump loses to two enemy cats that stay alive. Save cost, then send a real wave. The Getting Started guide walks through that first habit.

Fight near your own base
Reinforcements arrive faster when the line sits close to home. If you push too far, backup cats are still running while the first wave dies. Keep the fluffy wall near the Dried Fish Factory.

Open with Bacon Jack, A Qiang, and Blue Fatty
Those three are the Chapter 1 starter trio from the developer roster post: cheap melee, pebble glass cannon, and a knockback-resistant tank. Unlock Xiao Fu, Wu Ji, and Big Ju next.

Equip Midas Touch before Hard Mode gold farms
The August 23 Steam patch doubled Hard Mode gold and added Midas Touch, which doubles enemy gold drops. Pair them after you finish the 93-stage campaign.
