Claws Of Power World map

Meow Island’s six regions and 93 standard levels, using only names Steam actually printed.

Last updated:

Claws Of Power’s campaign lives on Meow Island (Steam posts also say Meow Meow Island). The August 19, 2026 announcement is the map bible: 6 regions, 93 standard levels, then 44 Hard Mode levels after the credits. The price-reveal post adds 3 hidden stages and 3 mini-bosses.

Older versions of this page listed “King Cat’s Clearing,” “Sapphire Forest,” and waterfall dungeons. Those names were not in Steam copy. They are gone.

Four regions Steam named

The countdown post showed four battlefield moods:

  • Swamp region — damp and shadowy. Long walks punish you; hold the line near the Dried Fish Factory so backups arrive. Xiao Fu’s knockback matters when bodies stack in mud.
  • Desert region — windswept. Open lane, piercing tools (Solo) and pebble volleys (A Qiang, Wu Ji) get more value. Masashi can skip a stretched front.
  • Snowfield region — frozen. Xuebao / Snowball is tied to Father phase two in the August 29 notes, so treat snow content as the road to the final trial.
  • City region — danger-filled streets. Launch patches mention manholes: Genji units dying after entering them, health bars not hiding, Slipp wrongly increasing “well progress.” Watch the floor.

Two more regions exist in the “6 regions” count. Steam did not print their English names in that post, so this map will not guess them. When a later announcement names them, they will appear here and on Release notes.

What sits on the map besides arrows

  • Shop — unlocking it grants Garrison Whistle (August 26).
  • Equipment shortcut — launch-week update put a shortcut to the equipment panel on the map screen.
  • Secret corner in Chapter 1 — Cook’s trial, from the Next Fest notes. Details on How to Unlock Hidden Stages.
  • Fishing and mini-games — launch-eve post. They recruit hidden companions; they are not skippable flavour if you want the full roster.
  • Stage 7 — Clone Shovel equipment drop (August 26).
  • Boss stage — Endless Duanzang lives here in the demo notes. See Lord Challenge.

Campaign versus Hard overlay

The 93 are the story route. The 44 Hard levels unlock when you finish that route, at no extra cost. Steam did not publish a second island art file. Play Hard as a difficulty overlay on the same island, funded by doubled gold and Midas Touch (Hard Mode).

Chapters 1 and 2 were rearranged on March 17. A demo-era screenshot of the opening map may not match live nodes. Trust the in-game arrows after that patch, not an old GIF.

Mini-boss geography

Duancang, Degumiao, and Father are named bosses, not region titles. Father is the final trial. This page will not pin them to a pixel on a fan map that does not exist. Use the Campaign Walkthrough for order of operations and the embedded full-game video for a look at how the path actually snakes.

Socket gems, per the store page, come from conquering strongholds. Until a patch names those strongholds on the map, treat lords and region clears as the only sourced geography.

Practical sweep order

  1. Follow the 93. Do not wait for a fake “island 2 at stage 8.”
  2. Peek every side node in Chapter 1 for Cook.
  3. Play fishing / mini-games when the map offers them (Jimmy, Spring Roll).
  4. Grab Clone Shovel at 7, Shop whistle when the city opens.
  5. After credits, turn on Hard Mode with Midas Touch equipped via the map shortcut.

Controls and Steam Deck notes sit on Controls. Building upgrades sit on Buildings and Talents.
