What we checked on Steam — and why this $6.99 game is not a gacha code mill.
Players type “Claws Of Power codes” because every live-service cat game trains that habit. Claws Of Power is not that game. It is a $6.99 Steam premium title (¥28 in China) with a two-week 20% launch discount that ended September 4, 2026. Steam categories are Single-player, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing.
This hub exists so the search still lands on a honest answer instead of a fake table of GOLDPAW2026.
What we actually checked
We read every Steam community announcement for app 3998900 through August 29, 2026, including:
- Launch countdown and launch-day posts
- Demo / Next Fest notes (Cook, Endless Duanzang, Hand of God)
- March 17 trial notes (talents, mercenaries, Meow Mine, A-Dai)
- Live patches on August 23, 25, 26, 27, and 29
None of those posts publish a redeemable gift code, a Discord #codes pin, or a Twitch drop string. If Garlic Sprouts later posts one, it will appear on Active codes the same day we can verify it in a Steam news item.
Rewards that do exist (and are not codes)
- Launch discount — 20% off for two weeks, now over. Current list price is $6.99 / ¥28.
- Free demo — still the way to try the game. Demo updates added idle, Cloud, multilingual UI, Hand of God, Thick Iron Armor.
- Hard Mode gold doubled plus Midas Touch (August 23) — the official gold farm, described on Hard Mode.
- Mercenaries — gold hires after failing a challenge several times.
- Achievement system — added August 27, 2026. Steam’s store page already advertised 30 achievements; that patch turned the system on.
- Hidden companions Cook, Jimmy, Spring Roll — map hunts, not code redemptions. See How to Unlock Hidden Stages.
Socket gems are a store-page feature tied to strongholds, not a code shop.
How to redeem if a code ever appears
We have not seen an in-game Profile → Redeem screen in any patch note. Do not follow a guide that screenshots a menu from another game. When an official code exists, How to redeem a code will describe the menu that Steam or Garlic Sprouts actually names.
Until then, ignore random “working codes September 2026” lists. They either steal strings from other titles or invent them. Entering junk in a menu that does not exist will not spawn Sapphire the legendary.
Steam keys versus in-game codes
A Steam key (retailer, humble bundle, 3DM Games promo) unlocks the whole game on your account. That is not an in-game gem code. Family Sharing is supported; you do not need a second key for a household share that Steam already allows.
